Vicki Dello Joio teaches an integrative form of Chi Kung, one of the foundational martial arts.

Her focus is on guiding people to use their energy with increased awareness and intention, to transforming obstacles into possibilities, and enhancing the quality of their lives.

In her work, Vicki has constructed a set of original, powerful principles and guidelines for using "joy" as an energetic "fuel," to motivate and help sustain people in any environment and under even the most difficult circumstances. She is the founder of the Way of Joy Center, established a decade ago in Oakland, California.

As a facilitator, Vicki uses improvisation, theater games, and martial arts as teaching tools to help people discover ways to bring forth their own unique radiance and purpose. Her blend of skills is invaluable in corporate as well as private and community settings. In addition to teaching ongoing classes and seasonal workshops at the Way of Joy Center in Oakland, Vicki often travels and is available for workshop presentations to groups all across the country.

Vicki brings over 30 years of martial arts and theater experience to her work as a teacher and workshop facilitator. In her autobiographical summary, Vicki describes her experience through the years with emphasis on her important teachers and the influences that have molded who she is today as well as what and how she teaches.
